Venue AddressIn preparation ahead of the church ACM (28 March 2026), it is now the time to begin our nomination process for potential Church Committee leaders for 2026.
We are looking for godly, faithful and qualified candidates with the following professional experience:
a. Finance (Accountancy / Treasury)
b. Governance (Risk Management / Audit / Compliance)
c. Human Resources (HR Operations / Talent Management / Learning & Development)
d. Building and Security (Building Operations and Maintenance/ Mechanical and Electrical/ Fire Safety/ IT/ Logistics)
e. IT (Infrastructure/ Cybersecurity/ Governance)
f. Land Lease Renewal (Property Valuation)
g. Internal Auditors (Internal Control/ Accountancy/ Regulatory Knowledge)
Here are some reasons why it is important for you to be involved in this process:
1. The church needs godly and faithful leaders. God has designed the church so that it thrives when there are leaders in place to serve the church effectively and selflessly.
2. The church needs qualified leaders. The nature of leadership and the emphasis we see in Scripture on the qualifications of leaders reminds us of the importance of this process.
3. The church needs your help in identifying qualified leaders. There is a consistent pattern in Scripture of church members being involved in identifying and affirming new leaders.
In light of this, the current church committee is requesting that you thoughtfully and prayerfully recommend names of individuals who might serve our church in the area of the church committee, whether in 2026 or in future years, and help us build God’s kingdom.
Gospeliters may submit their own names or recommended names to shine@gospellight.sg by 1 Feb 2026 and state the position that the individual is recommended for.
