God rests from His creation on the seventh day. He gives us his personal name, Yahweh, reflecting His eternal, unchanging nature. Through the creation of Adam and Eve, God has His purpose for Man: to work in tandem with Him. His creation of Woman shows how a husband should relate to his wife. Finally we learn about the sacramental truths behind the two trees in the Garden: God makes the rules and He knows what’s truly good and evil.
