This title must have scared you! It sounds horrible, doesn't it? And it is exactly that. The Abomination of Desolation is a detestable act by a detestable man (probably somewhere in the future) who will also bring about a lot of destruction. His rise to prominence will ignite a season of great tribulation, unparalleled in history. Many will die. So, if COVID-19 is scary, imagine what will it be like when this man arrives on the scene!Yet, the Christian hope is that ultimately, Jesus wins! This man (Antichrist) will be destroyed, and Jesus will rule and reign in righteousness, peace, and joy. So, whilst Matthew 24 speaks of scary days, it is really more about hope and joy to come when Jesus returns. You may have many questions about the end times. When will these things happen? What's the timeline like?
